When you take a risk, you put your neck on the line. The executioner is waiting for you to be beheaded, and the crowd is calling out your name. On the other hand, once something succeeds, these same people will say, “I saw it coming” or “I knew he’d go that way,” without knowing what goes on behind the scenes. After the fact, everything is completely right.
